Description

A print made from reflecting on Robert MacFarlane’s book the Old Ways. This print takes as inspiration the winding paths of woodland walks and sparkling streams, the path before you hidden round multiple bends so the future is always obscured. On reading, I also looked into Hogarth’s treatise on the line of beauty, this s-curve which he deemed most pleasing.

A very small edition of four prints on Somerset Satin white printmaking paper with deckled or torn edges. Hand finished with 23 carat gold leaf.

These are handmade items and each are individual, so there may be some tiny discrepancies from the photographed print.
