Hand pulled screen print from an original drawing. Edition of 50. Prints come unmounted and unframed. Available in Grey on White Fabriano Rosaspina paper or Gold on 350gsm colorplan paper in Ebony and in a range of sizes.
This print is available in three sizes, 30x40cm, A4 (21×29.7 cm) and 13x18cm to fit standard sized frames available from big blue furniture stores and other high street retailers. (Though I would recommend you to support your local framer who can frame it to look it’s best and protect it from humidity and dust!)
This print was inspired by the story of St Kevin of Glendalough who, legend has it, was praying one day when a bird mistook his outstretched hand for a branch and began to build a nest in it. Kevin, not wanting to disturb the bird, kept his hand still throughout days and weeks until the eggs had hatched and the young birds had flown the nest. I was reminded of this story by the birds I saw on my daily walks, currently nest-building and the period of enforced stillness we are all enduring for the sake of others health and wellbeing.
